Why do we need architecture?

When designing architecture, we usually want:

Maintainability: Can another developer understand and modify the code?

Scalability: Can the application grow without becoming unmanageable?

Reusability: Can common functionality be reused without creating tight coupling?

Testability: Can individual parts be tested independently?

Reliability: Can failures be isolated?

Performance: Can we optimize different parts independently?

Developer Experience: Can multiple developers work simultaneously without constantly conflicting?

Evolvability: Can we change technologies or requirements without rewriting everything?

The most important concept: Trade-offs

There is no architecture that is universally "best."

I would choose the architecture based on the application's size, domain complexity, team structure, deployment requirements, and expected growth.
